Chölhof

The Chölhof is a typical example of the large double stone house that has been spreading in the lower areas of the canton of Glarus since the middle of the 16th century. This stately building type replaced the simpler predecessors of this farmhouse among the elite. Hans Leuzinger referred to these houses as "bourgeois farmhouses".
The renovation and refurbishment of the Chölhof combines the historical charm of the building with modern living standards. The characteristic, massive structures of the Chölhof were carefully restored to preserve the original architecture while creating contemporary living spaces. This creates modern apartments that respect the old soul of the building and convey a unique living experience
