Salzwaage

Next to the Zwicky House in Mollis, a replacement building called Salzwaage is being constructed at a site of historical significance. Archaeological findings show that the first foundations on the property date back to around the year 790, and parts of a later timber structure can be traced to the year 1400. After a fire severely damaged the building, it is now being replaced by a new construction.
