Zuckerbäckerei

The "Zuckerbäckerei" is the oldest bakery still in operation in Chur and is located in the "Zum Ochsen" building. Parts of the building date back to the 11th century. During the extensive restoration, the building was partially renovated to accommodate the new building technology. The building's history was carefully brought out and combined with modern living comfort. In addition to the traditional bakery, the building houses stylish residential units. It stands as a testament to the preservation of cultural heritage in the nationally protected cityscape of Chur.
